Father’s Day in Birmingham

This year, Father’s Day takes place Sunday, June 19. If you live in the area, your local movers suggest you spend your Father’s Day in Birmingham at Regions Field to watch the minor league baseball team, the Birmingham Barons.

The Barons will be going head to head for a five-game series against the Mississippi Braves. The first of the five games will start Wednesday, June 15, at 7:05 p.m. and the last game of the series takes place on Father’s Day. Gates to the ballpark on Father’s Day will open at 1:15 p.m. The outfield will be available for fans and their fathers beginning at 1:30 p.m. Local Birmingham movers suggest that you get there early for a spot on the field to play some catch with the old man.

Local Birmingham movers announced that the first 1,000 fans of the ages 13 or older will also receive a Barons grill apron! Get to the park early so that after the game you can grill up some burgers for dad in style. Not only is it Father’s Day, but also Salute to Armed Forces Sunday presented by NAPA, where you can get $2 off regular priced ticket if you show a Military ID. WBC World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder will be throwing out the first pitch for the Salute. The ballgame will begin promptly at 3:00 p.m.

Show dad a good time after moving to Birmingham and head to Regions Field to watch the Barons play for a Father’s Day in Birmingham he is sure to remember!
