Birmingham Art Crawl - February 4, 5-9 p.m. – Head downtown any Thursday evening after moving to Birmingham for a night filled with art, street performers, food and live music. This event is perfect for the whole family and is a great way for you to meet local artists and fellow residents.
Chinese New Year Festival - February 6, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. – For the 10th consecutive year, the Chinese American community will be celebrating the Chinese New Year in a big way. Join the festivities at Boutwell Municipal Auditorium in Downtown and learn all about the Chinese heritage. Food, music, dancing and educational booths will be available to all attendees.
Mercedes Marathon - February 12-14 – Kick off your healthy lifestyle after moving to Birmingham and sign up for a 5K on Saturday or half marathon on Sunday during the Mercedes-Benz Marathon Weekend. Both races begin in the front of Boutwell Auditorium with a post-race awards ceremony and party on Sunday at 9 a.m. hosted by Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q.
Birmingham RV Super Show - February 26-28 – Featuring some of the most luxurious recreational vehicles on the market, this expo draws a huge crowd every year. Even if you aren’t planning on buying an RV after making a move to Birmingham, it’s always fun to see what’s new in the fifth wheel, camper, motorhome and toy hauler markets. Admission to the expo located at Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex is $9 for adults and free for children 12 and under.
